Big news for the Panther Sports Medicine Program. Former Panther Taylor Allbritton has graduated from UT Tyler and passed her Texas State Athletic Trainer License Test. Taylor is the first student from the current sports medicine administration to become a licensed athletic trainer. She joins Whitney Agnew-Scruggs as a Bullard graduate to achieve this goal.
We are proud to announce that student trainer Wes Carter has signed a scholarship witht he sports medicine program at Tyler Junior College and will continue his education in the field.
The sports medicine staff recently attended the annual ETATA student trainer workshop. Besides much learning and networking they were very successful in the ankle taping contest. Wes Carter got 1st place and Whitney Buckley was 2nd.
The students also attended a splinting seminar put on by Christus Trinity Mother Frances where they learned a lot and got very messy.
