Before coming to Bullard High School, I had the privilege of serving students in Georgetown ISD, Killeen ISD, Salado ISD and Florence ISD. I started my career nearly twenty years ago as a special education aide, while completing my bachelor's degree at Tarleton State University - Central Texas, then becoming a special education teacher. After completing my Master's Degree in Education Administration, also at Tarleton State University - Central Texas, I began my career as a middle school administrator. I was employed with Killeen ISD were I served as both an assistant principal and principal at the middle school level for 7 years. The last year and a half I served as an assistant principal at Georgetown High School which provided me with the opportunity to develop a new passion and commitment to high school students.
Chris Pawlak (aka Coach P) is beginning his 18th year in Education, and 4th year at Bullard ISD. Prior to Bullard, Coach P was a Teacher/Coach in Plano, Birdville, and Frisco ISDs. When people ask what I do, I am proud to answer that I'm an educator; 2016 begins my twenty-fourth year in this field. After earning my bachelor's degree at Texas A&M, I began teaching ESL, English, and journalism in Whitehouse. Since then I have taught every level of English 7 - 12, Spanish, Speech, and ESL in three high schools. In addition, I have served as an academic advisor and an assistant principal. I love making things happen for kids on a small or large scale, and I look forward to continuing to do so. I live a full life with my husband and two sons who attend Bullard ISD.
